Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans designed to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions based on individualized care plans developed by supervising behavior analysts
Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills development
Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans aligned with each client’s needs
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, session reports, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes learning, independence, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
Skills
Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in educational or clinical settings
Knowledge of assisting with ADLs and implementing teaching strategies tailored to individual needs
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to track behavioral progress effectively
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
Patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude toward supporting clients’ growth and development
