Role Description The RBT or Registered Behavior Technician role at Hannah's Gift ABA is an on-site position based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Interns support ABA service delivery by assisting with child-centered therapy sessions, preparing and maintaining treatment materials, and helping monitor client progress under clinical supervision. Day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting data collection, contributing to observations, and assisting in implementing safety and health protocols in the clinical environment. The role involves frequent communication with supervising clinicians and team members, collaborating to ensure care plans are followed and adjusted as needed. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a supportive setting for individuals interested in healthcare and ABA-focused work with children.
Qualifications
BACB Certification Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in medicine or health sciences relevant to supporting clinical and therapeutic care.Candidates should possess supervisory skills appropriate for assisting with session oversight and supporting safe, structured environments under licensed supervision.Candidates should possess strong communication skills for interacting with children, caregivers, and clinical team members in a clear, respectful manner.Candidates should possess basic laboratory or clinical skills, including handling equipment, maintaining hygienic practices, and following established health protocols.Candidates should possess awareness of occupational health principles, including safety procedures, risk mitigation, and compliance with workplace health standards.Additional beneficial qualifications include interest in ABA or pediatric care, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, reliability in following clinical instructions, and sensitivity to diverse families and backgrounds.Enrollment in or completion of coursework in a health-related, psychology, or behavioral science program is preferred.
