RBTs work one on one with children with autism using play therapy to work on foundational skills.
Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
– Implement treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
– Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
– Monitor and document patient progress.
– Provide support and training to families and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies
Requirements:
– Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred
– Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collect accurate data
– Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members
– Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
– Proficiency in using electronic data collection systems for tracking patient progress
