Responsibilities
Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill developmentImplement ABA therapy protocols accurately according to established treatment plansCollect and record detailed behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustmentsSupport clients during direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing behavior management techniquesCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and transparencyMaintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and client informationAssist with educational activities in school or home settings, supporting special education goals and autism spectrum disorder support strategiesExperience
Prior experience working with children, particularly in behavioral health or special education environmentsHands-on experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategiesKnowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management preferredExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorderHome-based behavioral experience is highly valued, along with familiarity in school settings or community programsDemonstrated ability to implement care plans and support clients’ progress across various settingsCommitment to ethical practices aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior AnalystsThis rewarding role offers a chance to make a real difference while developing your skills in behavioral health, ABA therapy implementation, and client communication.
