About Wellness Place
Wellness Place is an established Behavioral Health Group with offices in Dawson Springs and Kuttawa, Kentucky. Wellness Place is a Christian organization that serves Christian and Non-Christian patients from a diverse background. Wellness Place has served patients and clients from a large area of Kentucky and who have a broad range of mental illnesses. Our group has patients available for a behavior analyst and is in the process of adding additional programs/services that will further expand the caseload. Wellness Place continues receiving referrals from our community partners and agencies. Therefore, we are looking for a Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our team in providing services to our underserved region of Western Kentucky.
Wellness Place's Kuttawa and Dawson Springs Office are National Health Service Corps Job Sites, allowing the successful applicant to apply for loan repayment in addition to clinician's pay.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our dedicated team. The candidate will provide services based from both Kuttawa and Dawson Springs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with a variety of appropriate populations populations, including children, families, SMI/SED populations, individuals with autism, and individuals facing various challenges. The Licensed Behavioral Analyst will be responsible for conducting behavioral analysis, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective ABA therapy in both individual and group settings.
Responsibilities
Conduct behavior analysis patient assessments to determine therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.Provide applied behavioral analysis and treatment using evidence based methods.Facilitate individual and group treatment sessions for appropriate populations within licensure.Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed to ensure patient safety and well-being.Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with policy, HIPAA, state, and federal regulations and utilize ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for diagnosis.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management.Provide support for patients dealing with Autism, developmental disorders, and other mental health issues effectively treated with ABA therapy.Utilize telehealth platforms from a Wellness Place office for remote counseling sessions, when appropriate to increase access to care.Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy and techniques utilized in patient care.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.Valid licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Kentucky (additional licensure is a plus).Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.Familiarity with behavioral health concepts including crisis management, behavior management, and applied behavior analysis.Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is essential.Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments.Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings preferred; clinic experience is a plus.Understanding of special education needs and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is required.Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to ethical practice standards and continuous learning within the field of mental health counseling.We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through effective behavior analysis to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
