Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our dynamic behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis and have experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As an Assistant Behavior Analyst, you will support the implementation of individualized treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and collaborate closely with licensed behavior analysts to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Responsibilities
Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and developing tailored intervention strategies for clients with developmental disabilities.
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under supervision, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress, maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support patient intake processes by gathering relevant information and preparing documentation for diagnostic evaluations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education professionals, medical staff, and caregivers to coordinate care plans.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure all documentation aligns with medical terminology standards.
Participate in ongoing training sessions focused on applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health best practices, and medical documentation procedures.
Skills
Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques, particularly applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Experience working directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
Proficiency in data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data to inform treatment adjustments.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Ability to perform patient assessments, support intake procedures, and contribute to diagnostic evaluations.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
