Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as our Clinical Director. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA). You will lead a dedicated team of behavior technicians, collaborate with families, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to foster meaningful progress and positive outcomes. Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to behavior technicians and junior staff, ensuring adherence to ABA principles and ethical guidelines.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures, to establish individualized treatment plans.
Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on skill acquisition and reducing maladaptive behaviors.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data meticulously to track progress, modify treatment strategies, and ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and provide training on behavioral strategies.
Lead quality assurance initiatives by reviewing clinical practices regularly and ensuring compliance with licensing standards and ethical guidelines.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy strategies.
Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and informing treatment adjustments.
Familiarity with special education practices and working within multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication and support.
Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations.
Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
