Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans while collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Participate in diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to inform treatment strategies.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
Requirements
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in special education settings.
Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
