Sunny Days Behavioral Therapy is dedicated to children from the date they are diagnosed through the age of 12 years old who may be experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, developmental delays, fine/gross motor deficits, and/or speech/language difficulties.
Job Responsibilities:
As a BCBA at Sunny Days Behavioral Therapy, you will:
Assess, design, and oversee individualized ABA treatment programs
Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to behavior technicians
Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify behavioral challenges, and develop meaningful goals and appropriate intervention strategies, and curriculums.
Collect and analyze progress data and implement data-driven program changes
Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with company and industry standards
Prepare reports and ensure compliance with ethical and professional guidelines
Provide parent/caregiver training and collaboration and incorporate individualized goals into the family’s daily routine.
Coordinate with Clinical Director to maintain quality of cases
Support the continued growth of Sunny Days Behavioral Therapy through leadership and clinical excellence
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.
REQUIREMENTS: ·
· Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
BCBA or BCaBA certification given by the BACB
LBA or SCaBA certification given by the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board or ability to become certified within a probationary period.
Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the field of ABA
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and implement program modifications effectively
Demonstrated ability to apply behavioral therapy techniques effectively in various settings
Experience in providing parent/caregiver coaching and training
Ability to work directly with children as needed (sit, stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs.)
Comfortable using computers/tablets for documentation and data tracking
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
