Position Overview:
The BCaBA provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the ongoing supervision and clinical direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role focuses on the implementation of treatment plans, support of behavior technicians, and coordination of care, in accordance with BACB guidelines and payer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed and directed by the supervising BCBAProvide direct supervision to RBTs/behavior technicians, under BCBA oversight, to support treatment fidelityAssist the BCBA with program implementation, data review, and treatment adjustments (final clinical decisions made by BCBA)Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate data to support clinical decision-makingSupport caregiver training as directed by the BCBACommunicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress, barriers, and recommendationsEnsure all documentation meets BACB, funding source (e.g., Medi-Cal, commercial insurance), and organizational requirementsParticipate in team meetings and ongoing training under BCBA guidanceQualifications:
Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACBBachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related fieldExperience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferredStrong organizational, communication, and data analysis skillsReliable transportation and ability to travel within San Diego CountyPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with insurance-funded ABA servicesFamiliarity with electronic data collection systemsBilingual (Spanish/English) is a plusWhat We Offer:
