Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our clinical team.
This position is primarily a supervisory role, with responsibility for supporting the implementation of ABA services across assigned cases. The BCaBA will work closely under the supervision of a BCBA and assist with managing larger caseloads by providing direct supervision to behavior technicians, monitoring client progress, reviewing data, and supporting treatment implementation.
The BCaBA will serve as a clinical leader for assigned clients while ensuring consistency in treatment delivery and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide supervision and clinical support to RBTs and behavior technicians in center-based and in-home settings.
Assist supervising BCBAs in managing larger caseloads and ensuring treatment plans are implemented effectively.
Conduct direct observations and supervision sessions to monitor treatment integrity and client progress.
Review client data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations to the supervising BCBA.
Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programming under BCBA direction.
Provide modeling, coaching, feedback, and ongoing staff development to RBTs.
Assist with treatment plan updates, goal modifications, and program implementation.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, supervision notes, and treatment records.
Participate in caregiver training sessions as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Attend clinical meetings, team trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration meetings.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical standards, company policies, and payer requirements.
Support social skills programming, community-based instruction, and group activities when applicable.
Assist with onboarding and mentoring new behavior technicians.
Qualifications
Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior reduction strategies, skill acquisition programming, and data analysis.
Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally between service locations.
Ability to pass all required background screenings and clearances.
Work Environment
Primarily center-based and in-home services.
Regular supervision and collaboration with BCBAs and clinical leadership.
