We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. *ResponsibilitiesImplement behavior intervention plans tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on skill development and behavior management.Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines.Use behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in children and individuals with developmental disabilities.Collaborate with supervisors, teachers, families, and other team members to ensure consistency in care and effective communication.Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing sensitive medical records accurately.Support the development of teaching strategies that enhance learning outcomes within special education frameworks.*QualificationsSpanishPrior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with autism is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.Strong interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a passion for teaching and patient care.Ability to follow detailed care plans, accurately collect data, and document progress using medical terminology and records.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols such as HIPAA is advantageous.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus.
