Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (In Clinic) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your primary focus will be implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring clients receive compassionate, effective support in a structured clinical environment. Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development through targeted interventions.Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques tailored to each client’s individualized care plan.Support children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders by delivering direct behavioral therapy in accordance with ethical standards and professional guidelines.Collaborate with team members, including BCBAs, educators, and caregivers, to ensure consistency across all aspects of treatment and client communication.Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing medical documentation and records securely.Participate in ongoing training related to behavior management, medical terminology, and ethical compliance to enhance your skills and ensure best practices.Skills
Experience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disabilities, in clinical or home-based settings.Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and their application in therapeutic interventions.Proficiency in data collection methods for behavioral health, including recording behavior frequency, duration, and antecedents/consequences.Ability to assist clients with ADLs such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other daily routines.Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and developmental disorders.Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members professionally and empathetically.Familiarity with ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.Join us as a Registered Behavior Technician (In Clinic) where your passion for helping others meets professional growth!
