Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic and BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team, providing essential support for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. Duties
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills
Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Collect, analyze, and document data related to client progress and behavior patterns accurately and consistently
Support individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders through tailored teaching and behavioral therapy techniques
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update comprehensive care plans
Maintain detailed medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy
Provide home-based behavioral therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients
Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting progress notes or communicating with healthcare providers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, or a related field; BCBA certification required for supervisory roles
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, preferred
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and behavioral health practices
Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and medical terminology
Prior experience in home-based settings or working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable
Strong understanding of patient care standards, HIPAA compliance, and ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
Ability to collect data meticulously, follow treatment protocols precisely, and adapt interventions as needed
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, team members, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $51,168.28 - $61,622.01 per year
