Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationFree access to the RBT certification course for candidates with experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting, such as camps, daycare, tutoring, or mentoring.Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
Follow all BCBA guidance related to each client’s treatment planPrepare for sessions with a clear understanding of goals, structure, and materialsImplement intervention procedures and provide timely communication and feedback to the BCBAMaintain professionalism when interacting with parents and caregivers, following BACB ethical standardsCollect and record data on client progress during sessionsComply with all HIPAA confidentiality requirements
