PAYING $21.00/HOUR
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the implementation of treatment programs written by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
The RBT role is a key position within UCPH building strong relationships with clients, families and has direct impact on each child's outcomes. There is high demand for these services, and it offers a GREAT career path for individuals who have worked with kids, are in school for education, social work or psychology and it is rewarding to see the impact that you have on these children with every session.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; however, some college experience or a college degree is preferred but not required.
• Have the ability to complete training and become credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician-or are currently a credentialed RBT
Essentials of the Job:
• Implement ABA treatment programs as written by the BCBA.
• Conduct quality 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based setting.
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
• Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.
• Communicating clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
• Follow all agency, regulatory and accreditation policies and procedures.
• Must have a successful background clearance and reference checks, including Motor Vehicle Report
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Education:
• Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
• educational or childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
• work or interaction with individuals with disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: St. Louis/Dogtown/South of 40-64 from the St. Louis Zoo
Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
