The RBT is responsible for providing direct one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals with autism and related developmental disorders. The RBT works under the direct supervision of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans,individualizedtreatmentplans,and collect data to monitor progress.
Responsibilities ABA Therapy Implementation:
Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials, conducting initial assessments and functionalbehavior assessments (FBAs) to identify target behaviors and develop behavior interventionplans (BIPs).
Provide direct ABA therapy utilizing both intensive teaching and natural environment training, asoutlinedintheclients individualized treatment planprotocols.
Record accurate data as specified in the clients individualized treatment plan and providefeedbacktotheBCBAregardingthe clients progressandareasof need.
Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with client, caregivers, and other teammembers.
Collaborate with the BCBA, caregivers, and other team members regarding the clients progressandgoals.
Professional Development and Ethical Conduct:
Stayinformedaboutthelatest research,advancements, andbestpractices inthefieldofABA.
Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior AnalystCertificationBoard(BACB).
Pursueongoingeducationandtraining.
Participate inongoingprofessionaldevelopmentactivitiestomaintainRBTcredential.
Qualifications Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BehaviorAnalyst CertificationBoard.
Highschooldiploma (bachelorsdegreeinarelatedfieldpreferred.
One year minimum of working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioralchallenges.
Experiencewithonlinedatacollectionprogramspreferred.
Efficientwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
Strongattentionto detail,problemsolving,andcriticalthinkingskills.
Familiaritywithrelevantlaws, regulations,andethicalguidelines inthefieldofABA.
Mustsubmittoafederalandstatebackgroundcheck.
Abilityto sitonthe floor,kneel,crawl, squat,run,orstandforextendedperiodsof time.
Abilityto push, pull,lift,move, andcarryupto35lbs.
Reliablemodeoftransportationandability totravelupto45minutes.

Salary: USD 36000 - 60000 per year
