Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, assisting clients with daily living activities (ADLs), and collecting data to monitor progress. The ABA Therapist will work closely with families and other professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities
• Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each client's needs
• Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence
• Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work collaboratively with families to educate them on behavioral strategies and techniques
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and progress notes
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy
• Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively
• Provide support in a variety of settings, including home, school, and community environments
Qualifications
• Experience in behavioral therapy or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Background in special education or patient care is a plus
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication skills for teaching clients and collaborating with families
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals through positive reinforcement and support

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
