Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, working 25 hours per week at an engaging and rewarding rate! Duties
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development.Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective therapy sessions.Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines.Support clients in educational settings by applying behavioral strategies that enhance learning and social interactions.Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate closely with supervisors, family members, and educators to ensure consistency in behavior management techniques.Respond proactively to client needs during sessions and promptly address any concerns or emergencies by following established protocols.Skills
Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis.Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for progress tracking.Compassionate approach to assisting with ADLs and supporting patient care needs.Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.Effective teaching abilities tailored to diverse learning styles within special education environments.Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills for working with individuals with behavioral health challenges and their families.
