Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves providing behavioral therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans to support clients' growth and development. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
Conduct patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and functional behavior analyses to inform treatment strategies
Collect, analyze, and document data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness with precision and adherence to HIPAA regulations
Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to individual needs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in intervention approaches
Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of services provided, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Participate in intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient care goals
Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and medical documentation standards
Stay current with best practices in behavioral health, special education, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
Qualifications
Valid BCBA certification required; state licensure as a Behavior Analyst preferred
Proven experience in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), data collection methods, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation processes
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance
Experience working within special education settings or behavioral health environments is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient care and ethical standards in clinical practice
Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases effectively
