Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, patient care, and experience working with children. This position is essential in promoting positive behavior management and helping clients achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapyAccept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrityTeach socially acceptable replacement behaviors;Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disordersCommunicate client progress with supervising BCBAAs applicable, provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment planCollect behavior data as specified in client behavior support planImplement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist.Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to strategize program improvementsDocument interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely mannerAssists in the creation of instructional materialsOpenly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessaryAttends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetingsDesire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.Requirements:
Experience with multiple age groupMust have experience with aggressive and self-injurious behaviorsMust be a Certified Behavior Technician by BACB.com or have registered to take the RBT examMust be CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention or equivalent certified.Must be a U. S. citizen, legal/permanent resident, or have a valid employment authorizationMust be certified in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid, or be willing to get themHS diploma requiredOne year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferredMust be a team playerCPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring)Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders preferredAbility to juggle multiple tasks simultaneouslyOutstanding interpersonal skills and high attention to detailDesire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilitiesClear Criminal Background.Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by applying your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician!
