Duties
Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ individual care plans Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to foster independence Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform treatment plans Support teaching and skill acquisition by engaging clients in structured activities aligned with their educational goals Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and documentation Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies Help monitor client safety, provide patient care, and support overall well-being during therapy sessionsRequirements
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) is essential Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively Strong data collection skills and attention to detail for tracking client progress accurately Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, care plans, and medical records is advantageous Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude toward working with diverse populations Must be committed to maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting client confidentiality Currently enrolled or recently completed coursework related to special education, behavioral health, or related fields is desirableJoin us in creating a supportive environment where your skills can truly make an impact! Pay: $51,820.80 - $62,407.84 per year
