In our 1:1 ABA setting, you'll work hands‑on with children (18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence‑based ABA techniques in a supportive, center‑based environment. What You’ll Be Doing as a Behavior Therapist Apply the principles of one‑on‑one ABA therapy to help children with Autism reach their full potential: read treatment plans, implement treatment, collect data, write insurance notes, and incorporate supervisor feedback. Support the development of children in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging learning activities. Collaborate with a team to optimize treatment, safety, and a positive work environment. Engage children through play, movement, and imitation—running, dancing, singing, playing, reading, watching videos—maintaining energy and enthusiasm. Effectively and positively communicate with stakeholders (peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for needs. Job Requirements Lift and move up to 30 lb, bend over, squat, run, and keep a tidy, safe environment. Maintain a clean, organized play space conducive to therapy. Multitask and prioritize safety while balancing multiple actions. Support teams across centers; travel to nearby centers may be required. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. RBT Certification Complete the Registered Behavior Technician certification process within 20 days of employment: complete a 40‑hour curriculum, hands‑on competency assessment, register and pass the board’s exam.
