Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments of clients, including the use of direct observation and interviews with clients and their caregivers. Interpret results to develop and refine individualized treatment plans.
Program Development: Design, implement, and monitor ABA-based programs that enhance clients' communication, social, and adaptive living skills. Tailor interventions to each client’s specific needs and abilities.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to monitor the effectiveness of interventions. Adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and their families or caregivers to ensure treatments are understood and supported, promoting consistency in intervention strategies across all environments.
Team Leadership and Supervision: Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff. Oversee the implementation of behavioral interventions and ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and behavioral data. Ensure all practices comply with professional standards and legal requirements.
Consultation and Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and external agencies to coordinate care and participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss treatment.
Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of behavioral analysis. Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to further enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Advocacy and Education: Educate and advocate for the importance of behavioral health and ABA strategies. Conduct workshops and training sessions for caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
Salary Range upto $90,000
Minimum Requirements:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education: Bachelors degree or Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Certification: Active Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCaBA).
Must be able to successfully complete First Aide Certification, CPR Certification.
Successfully complete Community Mental Health required training
