Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable BCBA to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, special education, and patient care, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while providing exceptional support to clients and behavior therapists.
Duties
Conduct thorough data collection and patient assessments to evaluate individual needs.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure adherence to medical terminology standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Educate clients and families about treatment options and strategies for improvement.
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
Requirements
Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or special education; advanced degrees are a plus.
Valid BCBA Certification
Experience in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
Experience working in schools is preferred!
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and practices.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and medical terminology.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
