Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with autism and other developmental disorders. You will conduct assessments, monitor client progress, and provide training and supervision to staff and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact, skilled in ABA techniques, and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality care.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify target behaviors and their underlying causes.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Provide direct therapy and supervision in home, school, and community settings.
Analyze client data to track progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Train and mentor staff and caregivers on behavior intervention techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and session notes.
Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and offer guidance on behavioral strategies.
Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Qualifications
Preferred- Bilingual (Spanish)
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior management techniques, and assessment methods.
Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Ability to analyze data and adjust treatment plans based on client progress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for travel).
Passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and supporting their families.
