Position Overview
The BCBA will oversee the assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and supervision of ABA services for children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. This role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure meaningful and measurable client outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill assessmentsDevelop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plansAnalyze data and modify treatment programs based on client progressSupervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs)Conduct parent and caregiver training to promote treatment generalizationCollaborate with families, educators, physicians, and other service providersComplete clinical documentation and reports in a timely mannerEnsure services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical standards and payer requirementsStay current on evidence-based ABA practices and emerging researchAdvocate for client success across home, school, and community settings
Qualifications
Required
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificationMaster's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related fieldMinimum of 1 year of ABA experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensureExperience supervising RBTs and conducting parent trainingExperience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
Compensation & Incentives
