Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
Lead and supervise behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings.
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment documentation, and HIPAA-compliant records to ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and staff, fostering a team environment focused on patient care excellence.
Participate in intake procedures, patient care planning, and ongoing evaluation to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Requirements
Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential.
Proven experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management in healthcare settings.
Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, healthcare professionals, and team members.
