Position Summary
The BCaBA designs, implements, oversees, and supervises therapy programs to support our people in services needing applied behavior analysis and related supports to improve their daily functioning and autonomy under the direction of a BCBA. This position utilizes ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading, and task analysis to create individualized plans for clients, families, and teams to implement. Additionally, they are responsible for designing and monitoring data collection to support the evaluation of behaviors and monitor progress. This position is responsible for monitoring the services delivered to the client and family and managing personnel issues with the support of the BCBA.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Able to lead cross-functional teams in support of the client’s treatment planAdminister assessments (e.g., ABLS-RR, AFLS) and create goals based on the assessments.Assesses the individual’s performance and implements treatment based on established goals, including but not limitedto the FBA (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Reduction Plans).Serves, communicates, and consults as a member of an interdisciplinary team.Provides training and education to staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders.Provides feedback and ongoing support to Registered Behavior TechniciansParticipates in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunitiesSupervises Registered Behavior Technicians and ensures the maintenance of their credentials.Responsible for promoting a positive Safety Culture is expected and necessary to make CHS a safe workplace. This position's safe work practices and policies shall be reviewed and strictly followed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BCaBA Certifications, but will consider applicants who will become certified within three months.Has met Supervisor Requirements through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Travel as needed, with overnight stays.
