What to Expect
As a Behavior Technician working one-on-one with children with Autism in a supportive clinic setting, you will:
Run individualized procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors, enhance functional daily living skills, and improve functional communication.
Support the acceptance of neurodiversity, provide compassionate, assent-based care, and truly prioritize the wants and needs of your clients.
Use a tablet to collect session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes.
Who You Are
All Backgrounds Welcomed & Valued: Great for candidates transitioning out of early childhood education, daycare centers, special education assistant roles, caregiving, medical assisting, retail, hospitality, or recent grads looking for stable daytime clinical hours (prior experience in these fields is welcomed, but not required!).
The Mindset: You are reliable, compassionate, high-energy, and thrive in active environments where you can see the positive impact of your work every day.
Education & Prerequisites: High school diploma, GED, or higher.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from the clinic daily.
Physical Stamina: Ready to stay active! You must be able to sit, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move or run quickly when necessary to engage at a child's level and maintain strict safety protocols.
