Behavior Analyst, 12-Months

Behavior Analysts at Special School District (SSD) support students across a range of educational settings through applied behavior analysis, helping them build skills, independence, and positive outcomes. In this role, you will design and oversee behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and use data to guide decisions that support meaningful progress for students. You will collaborate with IEP teams, families, and school staff, providing consultation and strategies that strengthen classroom practices and ensure consistent, effective support. Through coaching, modeling, and professional learning, you will also help build staff capacity, supporting teachers, paraprofessionals, and behavior technicians in implementing plans with fidelity. Your work connects students, schools, and community resources, ensuring coordinated care and a consistent approach that helps students succeed.
BCBAs work during school hours, Monday through Friday. The start and end times may vary depending on the building assignment. Occasional work after school hours may be required. Travel is required as these positions often serve multiple schools. We are currently seeking BCBAs to serve:

Salary
BCaBA: minimum $62,632 to $ 89,338, maximum based on experience and education
BCBA: minimum $70,574 minimum to $104,277, maximum based on experience and education
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field required
Master's Degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred
Specific experience in behavioral and instructional strategies training related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
License issued by the Division of Professional Registration. (LBA) preferred
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) required
