Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) and highly experienced RBT, to join our dynamic team, supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to the development of personalized care plans. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health will help foster meaningful progress and improved quality of life for those we serve. Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence
Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavioral management techniques in a patient and encouraging manner
Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans aligned with each client’s unique needs and goals
Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations during documentation and communication
Use medical terminology appropriately when recording progress notes or communicating with healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Certification as a BCaBA or equivalent credential from an accredited organization
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods
Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance
Ability to assist with ADLs while demonstrating patience and compassion
Excellent teaching skills combined with a genuine passion for supporting behavioral health and special education needs
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings is a plus
