Our Facility School serves youth ages 6-21 on a year-round calendar. As a Therapeutic Instructor, you will provide direct educational and behavioral support working individually with students and in small group settings. You will support students in increasing their independence and achieving their educational and behavioral goals. Each student's care is highly individualized and developed by our clinical team consisting of Special Education Teachers, BCBAs OT, Speech and Mental Health clinicians.
PAID TRAINING
SPECTRA provides all the training and supervision necessary to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential at no cost to the employee. We also provide QBS Safety-Care training that provides the skills and competencies necessary to effectively de-escalate and manage behavioral challenges.

COMPENSATION
Compensation starts with an hourly rate of $20.50 - $24.00 per hour (based upon education level and years of experience in the field) and shifts to a salaried rate once the RBT credential is earned.
HOURS
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, with the option to add two afternoons per week 3:30pm - 6:00pm in our afterschool ABA program at a later time.

Holidays - 8 paid holidays per year (hourly and salary)
Paid Leave - Earn up to 80 hours of sick/vacation the first year with the potential to earn up to 160 hours annually with tenure (hourly and salary)
Paid School Closures - 8 days for Winter Break; 5 days for Spring Break; 2 days for Thanksgiving; 4 days for July 4th (Total of 19 days - salary only).

Be at least 21 years of age
Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required
Experience working with children with Autism and related populations preferred
