Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional analyses to identify individual needs and strengths.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to provide training, support, and education on behavioral strategies and interventions.
Perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations related to autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and document all patient interactions thoroughly.
Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, behavioral health practices, and current ABA methodologies to enhance service quality.
Skills
Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
Strong background in data collection, behavioral psychological assessments, and functional assessments.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques for children and behavioral health strategies.
Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
Home-based behavioral experience supporting clients in their natural environments.
Ability to perform intake procedures, patient assessments, and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating families about behavioral interventions.
